Bindu Shanavas
Founder & CEO
Bindu Shanavas is driven by a belief that giving has the power to inspire personal growth and create meaningful social change. She founded hellogive with the aspiration of building a platform where self-growth meets social good.
Bindu is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer with an MBA and her professional journey spans nearly two and half decades. Throughout her career, she has brought together interdisciplinary thinking, strategic problem-solving and a versatile approach to strengthening business operations. Her expertise lies in applying design thinking practices to help teams adopt better tools, processes, and mindsets for success.
She began her career at GEC Alsthom and went on to work with GE Power Controls and Infosys before co-founding her Product design consulting firm, Teqzo Retail Products Pvt. Ltd., along with her life partner Shanavas M.S. As she moved through her professional and personal experiences, she actively engaged in service-learning initiatives and mentorship roles with NGOs. These experiences deepened her connection to community-driven impact and ultimately sparked the motivation to create hellogive.

The founder director of TEQZO Consulting carries with him more than 20 years of experience in applying design, technology and innovation to product domains ranging from toys to high technology medical devices to consumer appliances.In the year 1999, he was awarded 12th place in 9th Japanese International Design Competition in Osaka. In 2012, his team won CII-NID Design Excellence award for Halo, a lighting fixture for CEMA Electrical. He was a speaker at 4th Indra India Innovation Summit held at Pune (28th & 29th Jan 2011). He was also a keynote speaker at Product Design Days, Chennai–an international conference on design in 2012.
